Jai Ho Trailer with English Subtitles

I’ll give Salman Khan the benefit of doubt and not tag this a musical for the moment. Having said that, I really REALLY haven’t taken a like towards him throughout this Indian Movie Journey, however, Eros International has obliged with an English subtitled version one week after the release of the trailer.

Not only that, they’ve even obliged with a Dutch subtitled version. Odd choice of language, but maybe one day I’ll get to find a Spanish subtitled one. That’s not a blunt hint or anything.

Besides the subs availability, I’ve also become a sort of a Tabu fan. For the past week or so, it’s been all about her, so I couldn’t really miss the chance to post about her. My Indian Movie 2014 seems to be scheduled with two Madhuri Dixit movies, one Vidya Balan, one Rani Mukerji, and now- one Tabu movie.

Jai Ho (not to be confused with the Slumdog Millionaire song [1] of the same name) seems to follow Salman Khan into a setting like Pay It Forward, something bad happens and Tabu calls on her big bro who turns out to be a big buffed Salman to the rescue, kicking butts and breaking skulls being a badass.

Directed by Sohail Khan, the cast is rounded up by Daisy Shah and Sana Khan.

It’s totally NOT my kind of movie.

Jai Ho is set for a January 24th 2014 release in India and other desi-friendly territories.
