Dedh Ishqiya Trailer with English Subtitles

If Bollywood ever decided to activate the close captioning on YouTube for their clips and trailer launches, I wouldn’t complain. But I’m trying. I wanted to post this after I actually had gotten the chance to watch Ishqiya, and Madhuri Dixit better be holding a gun at one point in the movie.

Dedh Ishqiya is the second installment of Abhishek Chaubey’s debut, which followed the life of a man, Khalujaan (Naseeruddin Shah), and his good for nothing nephew, Babban (Arshad Warsi), who got themselves into trouble with the wrong kind of people, which led them to meet with Krishna, who was played by a very rocking Vidya Balan [1].

The film balanced well all the crime action thriller aspect with the dramatic romance and some dark comedy, so we can probably expect more from that. Nothing else is known about the project except that Madhuri Dixit, known for her musical numbers[1], will be performing a Mujra [1] number for a song titled Apne Karar Mein, choreographed by Birju Maharaj.

I’m new at this, but does all that mean she will be performing a number similar to Maar Dala [1][official] or Kaahe Chhed Mohe [official] in Devdas? Because I’ll die. I don’t even know if those two numbers would be considered Mujra.

ANYWAY~

With Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi back in their respective roles, the cast is rounded up by Huma Qureshi. Dedh Ishqiya is set for a January 10th 2014 release in India.
