Vishal Dadlani & Anusha Mani – Gulaabo

Actually- they’ve just released the clip for Shaam Shaandaar by Amit Trivedi, but I’m not a fan, instead I got hooked to Gulaabo [Lyrics], one of them many upbeat songs that seems to plague Vikas Bhal’s upcoming rom-com Shaandaar [Trailer], which is following his uber successful Queen. Expectations are running very high because of that, on top of starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who are running on their own 2014 high with Haider and Highway/2 States/Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, respectively.

I’m not a big Alia fan, but she’s getting all the good stuff, so…

Plus, she’s super cool here with her mustache~ and actually dancing. Video is fun, there’s no context at all, but it totally leaves you with a stupid grin on the face with the upbeat dance and catchy tune.

The soundtrack is, of course, handled by Amit Trivedi who often works with the Phantom Films directors — Bhal, Kashyap, Motwane — with vocals by Vishal Dadlani (of the Vishal-Shekhar composer duo) and Anusha Mani (who sung and wrote Dil Mein Jaagi [clip] for Kashyap’s Dev.D, and sung Tera Rastaa Chhodoon Na [clip] from Chennai Express).

You can already get the single on iTunes.

Shaandaar is set to open October 22nd in India and other desi places… NOT HERE. lol

Oh, you can also check out the WHOLE song on the Zee Music upload.
