Top30 Film Discoveries of 2019

15. The Color of Pomegranates (Цвет граната)

A big screen experience.

14. The Graduate

Kinda off-topic, but realizing Anne Bancroft played Miss Havisham on Cuaron’s Great Expectations, I started imagining a Hindi remake of The Graduate with Tabu and Vicky Kaushal, because WHY NOT?

13. Lulu in the Nude (Lulu Femme Nue)

Karin Viard is amazing as a housewife trying to find herself and befriending these bunch of lonesome free spirits.

12. The Source (La Source des Femmes)

Would make an amazing double feature with Nadine Labaki’s Where Do We Go Now?.

11. Killer Joe

Savage movie. NC-17 deserved.
