The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Thanks for all the feels~

WEDNESDAY

Preparing for Thanksgiving… here we have 35 comic book covers with that Holiday theme. Gotta love all those superhero family dinners~

First footage of The Host 2. Yay! I liked the original movie! I don’t care if the CGI wasn’t perfect, it was awesome. And from the looks of this footage, I’ll love The Host 2 as well. It even has a before/after special effects. I’m all giddy!

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith 3D release gets moved a week! Now that it’s slated for October 4th, 2013, it means it will be battling against Sin City: A Dame to Kill for.

Benedict Cumberbatch comes back to the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Cabin Pressure. And damn, my Posh Alien Prince needs to calm down with the projects or he’ll pass out exhausted one of these days. Although, I am glad to watch (ok, hear) him in more comedies.

What the hell is this? How come there’s a list of classic opening lines in books and there’s no “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit”? Also missing, the opening line of Lolita (“Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins”) and Peter Pan (“All children grow up, except one”), dammit!

THURSDAY

Happy Birthday, Scarlett Johansson!

I wish for your birthday that they stop asking you embarrassing questions. Like if you consider yourself a Hiddlestoner just because you mentioned you shared a love for Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth with Anthony Hopkins. Journalists (and fans), please keep up the fourth wall, dammit! Poor Scarlett, she never gets asked sensible questions.

A Young Sherlock Holmes remake is a certainty, yay! And I apparently missed the fact that the script for Sherlock Holmes 3 (with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law) is moving forward. Man, we’ll have like four Sherlock Holmes!

A couple of videos from The Dark Knight Rises DVD/Blu-ray. First we have the behind-the-scenes of the football stadium explosion (one of my favourite parts); and then how Tom Hardy gained weight and muscle to be Bane.

From the book The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Chronicles: Art And Design, we have this awesome and detailed artwork.

Also, I just saw the new episode of Bad Days, this time featuring Thor and Loki~
