The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: #ProjectWendy

Neil Gaiman, who recently got a Hugo award, will write a second Doctor Who episode… YAY!

Found a Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadow VFX breakdown. Dammit, I love that digital XIX century London!

The Moving Picture Company (MPC) also worked on X-Men: First Class and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Casting news for Iron Man 3: Wang Xueqi may be  scientist-turned-villain Chen Lu/The Radioactive Man. Damn, how are they gonna manage that plot? I can’t wait to find out!

Yay, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey companion books! I really want The World of Hobbits!

First, we’ve got some spoilery info on Tony Stark’s new armour for Iron Man 3. Very spoilery if it turns out to be true. What can I say? I love being spoiled!

So, Hayley Atwell got asked if she’ll be back for Captain America: Winter Soldier. She answered with a vague:

I can’t say yet because it hasn’t been officially released, and Marvel are very protective of their franchise.

Considering Kat Dennings said something similar and now she’s back on Thor: The Dark World, I sure hope it means yes! Come on, at least some flashbacks! Her Peggy Carter was made of awesome!

Here’s an interview with Kieron Gillen. Right now, my favourite new comic book writer. And he talks about his involvement in Marvel Now! and his new unnanounced book:

So at the least, in terms of how it fits in my head, the new book is related to Journey Into Mystery. However, I’ll be pushing whole different areas. It’s not a high fantasy book, for example.

As long as it has Kid Loki, I’m game! Come on! Kid Loki in Young Avengers? Despite Wiccan’s presence, Young Avengers sure isn’t a “high fantasy book”. That would totally kick ass! Pretty please?

And then Tom Hiddleston will join Tori Amos, Javier Bardem, Juan Antonio Bayona and Julie Taymor at The New York Times’s ‘TimesTalks’ in Madrid. And I am green with envy. I bet Hiddles will try a few words in Spanish too. Hey, at least there will be a live webcast!

Be still my Potter heart, a Harry Potter retrospective!

My first big Fandom. Oh, my fangirly tears!
