Captain Planet and the Planeteers movie? I hope for the best but this could end up being such a mess. And Sony Pictures better not whitewash those Planeteers! And… could Don Cheadle be Captain Planet? Pretty please?
Remember we talked about a new Terminator movie that could be a sorta prequel? Turns out that the new Terminator movie will launch a new trilogy and it all would start in 2015.
Julianne Moore is in talks to be in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as President Alma Coin, “a manipulative politician who figures brightly in the finale as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) becomes a symbol of rebellion against the autocratic Capitol government“.
Here we have new pictures from Darren Aronofsky’s Noah!
Yes, it’s about biblical Noah, but character designs (costumes) sure differ from classic robes and sandals that we are used to. Also, in Aronofsky’s film, the actor “designed simply to withstand the flood rather than something that’s designed for travel”.
Oh yeah, we also have new pictures of The Curse of Chucky, which will come to Blu-ray and DVD later this year.
Yay, we’ll get to watch Twelve Years a Slave sooner! We are getting it on October 18th instead of December 27th due to “exuberant test screenings”.
So there’s gonna be a Magic Mike 2, and Channing Tatum did notice what fans wanted and didn’t get on the first one:
It will be a road trip movie, and it will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be – crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama. The first one, we had to make not so cheesy and campy; this one we are going to swing for the fences.
The Saturn Awards, which The Avengers slayed, gave us an excuse to keep talking to Joss Whedon, who said he wants to do a Howard The Duck movie nobody expects (or wants, in my opinion). Also during The Saturn Awards, Clark Gregg got asked what Marvel superhero he would like to be. He gave an unexpected answer:
I can’t say this because these guys are like, giant muscular superheroes, but if I had a magical transformation, I wouldn’t mind being Captain Marvel. Although, there’s a new Captain Marvel in the comics who’s a lady alien, and she’s hot. I would be a lady alien Captain Marvel.
Now we have the third new Harry Potter Scholastic cover, this time from Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. It’s quite more simplistic than the other ones. But overall I like it… the stag looks kinda like a moose though~
