Apparently that first footage screening of The Wolverine was awesome. Some lucky bastards got to watch about 20 minutes of images that included part of the first act and the bullet train sequence. Also, they got to ask James Mangold some questions, and he talks about the advantage of making a comicbook movie that is not an origin story:

The advantage I have on [The Wolverine] is my two hours are entirely devoted to characters and adventure and not having to set everything up. There’s a joy to [setting up origin story], I’m not putting it down but I think that when you have a movie where you’re trying to do both it’s an extra challenge. For me, because so much has been set in place with this character already it afforded me a chance [to do something different] and I don’t think many films like these hero films, go inside [the hero] and just explore him.

Vin Diesel said on his facebook Marvel wants to meet with him. And now everyone is wondering who he could play. The biggest contenders are Thanos, The Vision and Black Panther… I really hope it’s not Black Panther. I know Diesel is POC but you POC are not interchangeable and T’Challa is the not mixed-race King of Wakanda. Look at this pretty thing of prettiness! The Dark Knight Trilogy Blu-ray set packaging!

BTW, seems like Catwoman wasn’t dead after all! It was Martian Manhunter faking it, as you can see on Justice League of America #5. No prob, right? DC Comics gimmicks can be the worst sometimes! Geez~

Elementary has found its Mycroft Holmes! And it’s Rhys Ifans. He will appear on the season two premiere episode:

In the season opener, Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) is called to London to revisit an old case, where he is forced to face his older brother. Although the siblings suffered a falling-out years ago, Mycroft allows Sherlock and Joan (Lucy Liu) to stay in his home at 221B Baker Street. With Joan in the middle, the Holmes brothers are forced to confront their complex past.

And contuining with slowly pulling appart that Hobbit stuff that came from Empire magazine, here are some scanned pictures! Now with more dwarves!
