Coldplay – Charlie Brown

Coldplay unleashes a music video for Charlie Brown, the third single from Mylo Xyloto.

Directed by Mat Whitecross, the video for Charlie Brown — whose title is inspired by the Peanuts comic strip — looks pretty colorful just like the video for Every Teardrop is a Waterfall [MV]. While the band is playing at a rave club, the video also tells the story of two young lovers, played by Antonia Thomas (Misfits) and Elliot Tittensor (Shameless UK).

The song was written by Chris Martin in his daughter’s doll’s house, which was later turned into a studio when Martin’s daughter said she didn’t like it.
