Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Pink Trailer with English Subtitles
I have a hunch that this will be a very controversial movie. At least online, na?
Simply titled Pink, the thriller (and what seems court drama) is the Hindi debut of Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (Anuranan, Antaheen), which is being produced by Shoojit Sircar (Piku), focuses on the case of a group of women being accused of “assaulting” a group of men, in what seems to be a clear case of self-defense.
Star anchor Amitabh Bachchan plays a lawyer (albeit with spooky scenes, probably reenactments of the imagination).
The film also stars actress Tapsee Pannu (Baby), actor Piyush Mishra, actress Kirti Kulhari (Jal), Andrea Tariang, and actors Angad Bedi, Vijay Verma, Raashul Tandon and Tushar Pandey.
Pink is set to open on September 16th.
