Tricky – Does It

One of my favorite trip-hop artists, the veritable God of the genre, Tricky, releases his video for Does It. It’s a dark tune with even darker images, but there’s no denying that this man is back and with a vengeance.

With images of riots and police brutality given a hyper-surreal backdrop, this is definitely trip at its finest. It’s a haunting piece that speaks of overindulgence without consequence. How does it make you feel to know how completely useless you are, how prone ot violence and subject to its whims? Yeah… dark and oh-so fantastic.
