The Black Keys – Gold on the Ceiling

A second video for The Black Keys’ Gold on the Ceiling, the second single from their latest album El Camino, has been released.

Directed by Harmony Korine, the new extremely weird video for Gold on the Ceiling — which is similar in format to the video for Meat Step Lively [MV] from Thee Oh Sees — was never supposed to see the light. However, the band released it online on their YouTube account.

For those who don’t remember, The Black Keys released a simple music video for Gold on the Ceiling back in February, which highlighted their touring and live performances.

Which video do you prefer?

I enjoy this song, but that new music video looks awkward as fuck.

@Rodrigo, haha! There are a LOT of new videos that look awkward as fuck xD Sometimes I wonder if they really want the Lo-Fi look that bad, or if things just turned out that way. LOL
