Directed by Anderson, the stripped-down video features multiple split-screen shots of Apple singing from right and left profiles and head on in the middle of the screen.
Hot Knife marks Anderson’s return to filming a music video after 11 years. The last time he worked with Fiona Apple was 13 years ago with the video for Paper Bag [MV].
