Seoulsonic – Austin, Texas 2015
What does one say about Victim Mentality to truly describe them to someone? From the hand made lace and latex outfits to the light saber & whip wielding lead singer, this band is a spectacle not to be missed. But don’t let all that showmanship fool you, they have plenty of talent to back that up with. Krocodile (yep) has vocal talents that many a lead singer would die for and Kyungho’s melodies are crazy, epic and full of 80’s hair band spunk. The smiles we get from Scorpion are infectious, to be sure. The audience and I were definitely smiling and laughing our way through songs like Pubic Lice and Don’t Spit On Me.
America needs to bring Glam Rock back to the scene, and I know just the band to get them started. Victim Mentality is one of those bands who’s performances you’re never going to forget- EVER.
