Seoulsonic – Austin, Texas 2015
Big Phony, who is known for his solemn lyrics and melancholy melodies surprised the audience with a few special guests and a change in sound. He pulled out some of the electronic tracks from Long Live The Lie and was joined on stage by Vovo and Dolly of No Brain and buddy Howon Lee on bass and mixer to create a uniquely intriguing & highly unusual (for Big Phony) performance. I hope he continues to work with others on stage because this added volume and depth to the experience. But don’t miss out on his acoustic sets – he truly is a joy to watch.
