YAM – Issue 012

Ta-da!

Our latest and last issue as a PDF. This marks a new beginning for us, and marks the actual 2-month countdown for the opening of yam-mag.com, which actually is kinda nerve-racking. As we work on the actual website now, you can Follow us on Twitter, and/or join us on Facebook.

In this issue, McNeil from The Dark of the Matinee gives us a look at what was the Toronto Film Festival this year, and gives his thoughts on Let Me In (out in theaters in America), Black Swan (out in December in America), and Norwegian Wood (out in December in Japan).

We’ve also got a review for Jack Goes Boating from our new writer Dr. T, as well as a review for the manga series Uzumaki courtesy of Camiele White. On the music side of business, Luis is reviewing Brandon Flowers, Acid Android, Klaxons, Linkin Park and Maroon 5.

Welcome, you guys to the YAM team.

We’ve also got reviews for 2ne1, Robyn, Kangta, Isaac Delgado, Weeds, The Big C, Atami no Sousakan and more! If you’ve forgotten about our Yu Aoi Uso. Pop-up Book Giveaway, details are inside!
