Red 2 Trailer

The first trailer for Red 2, the sequel to 2010’s Red, has hit the web.

Based on the graphic novel Red by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, the “retired and extremely dangerous” spies are back in Red 2, and this time they’re hunting a portable nuke that’s gone missing.

Dean Parisot is the sequel’s director while Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber serve as the screenwriters. Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker and Helen Mirren reprise their roles once again. The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Thewlis and Byung-hun Lee.

Red 2 premieres on August 2, 2013.
