Phillauri Trailer with English Subtitles
The trailer for Anushka Sharma’s second Clean Slate Films-produced project has finally been unveiled. Titled Phillauri, the film follows a young man (Suraj Sharma) who is deemed unlucky to marry, so he is made to marry a tree. However, it turns out that he ends up marrying a ghost (Anushka Sharma) who inhabited it, as we discover what her past life with her lover (Diljit Dosanjh) was like.
The film was written by Anvita Dutt (with dialogue credits for Queen, Baar Baar Dekho, and Shaandaar) and directed by Anshai Lal, making his directorial debut.
We’re happy with Anushka’s continuous decision to produce films, after her production debut NH10.
Phillauri opens on March 24th.
