Frankenweenie Trailer
A new trailer for Frankenweenie, the remake of Tim Burton’s 1984 short film of the same name, has been released. The remake will be directed by Burton himself.
Young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences as Sparky gets out and causes havoc in the town.
The film is scheduled for release on October 5, 2012. It will be the first stop-motion film to be released in IMAX 3D.
I’m so excited for this movie. I watched Frankenweenie so many times as a child. I remember finding out later in life that it was actually my first Tim Burton film. I can’t wait to see what he does with the remake.
