Minzy featuring Flowsik – NINANO
Minzy’s back!!! (Bless Easter, yo! xD)
For the last couple of weeks, I had been watching and playing catch up with episodes of Sister’s Slam Dunk (언니들의 슬램덩크) Season 2. For those who know me, I’m usually not a fan of Korean show length— variety shows are no exception, so I could never finish Season 1. However, I used to eat up the first season of Making the Band, which gave birth to O-Town [hahaha][oh, look!], for old folk connoisseurs of pop music like me~~~ SO I’M FREAKING LOVING THIS SEASON.
I’ve been extra pumped this weekend with Minzy, because she’s such a good leader-nim; seeing her trying to protect members and nurturing them; as we hit an emotional height when all the Unnies members share their pains and struggles. So~~~ Rooting for this! Minzy, hwaiting!
Earlier in March, Minzy released the ballad I Wanted to Love (사랑하고 싶었던 거야) [MV], as Part 4 of the Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People (역적 : 백성을 훔친 도적) [They’ve also just released Part 8, featuring Jambinai— FYI]. Now, she’s finally unveiled Minzy Work 01 UNO [iTunes] and the single NINANO (니나노) featuring Flowsik. I was unable to find a MV director name, though. Any suggestions?
NINANO sticks to the true nature of Minzy’s style, a beat-driven hip-hop dance track. I can’t wait for the Dance version, because duh~ there’s like two different dance versions in that video xD The track also comes with an English Rap version, included in the mini.
