Two new character posters for Avengers: Age of Ultron! We have Captain America and Hawkeye!
Talking about them, both Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner talked about the movie~ Also, Chris Evans totally talks as if he were Captain America. Team group, you guys!
In this movie, it’s not about having stand-out moments, it’s about trying to have stand-together moments. You want to have scenes where you’re like ‘Man, the Avengers just kicked ass!’ If it’s every man for himself then it defeats the purpose of what this movie is. We have individual films for that. So I like the scenes where – as a unit – we’re all wrecking shop. And we get a bunch of those in this.
On the other hand, Renner said that Hawkeye is a team-player because he has to, but he ain’t too interested in that. I get you, Hawkeye!
[Hawkeye] is kind of a loner anyway, and he’s a team player only ’cause he sort of has to be. He’s not really a company man. Captain America can be that guy. In [Age of Ultron] you’ll understand why [Hawkeye] thinks the way he thinks. And with S.H.I.E.L.D., I don’t think it was ever really that important to him. [Nick] Fury’s awesome. He likes Fury and will do anything for him, but he’s not a company man. He doesn’t punch in and punch out.
The Russo brothers signed up with Sony Pictures, which it’s “a three-year first-look deal for feature films”. Rumors said it probably means that they’ll be involved in future Spider-Man/Spidey spin-off projects. Also, the same rumors claim that the new Spidey’s first appareance will be in Captain America: Civil War.
Talking about Spidey rumors, there was one that said that Dylan O’Brien was totally a done deal for the role. Problem is the dude wasn’t even aware he was in the running~
It’s nothing but flattering. It’s never something I would want to get myself excited about, since I know I haven’t heard about it from a professional standpoint. I’ve always wanted to play Peter Parker, obviously. I feel like any actor my age, that’s, like, a big thing. And my name being tossed with Logan Lerman’s is the coolest thing ever, too. I just think that kid is fucking fantastic. It’s really just, you know, I guess I’ll see if I even hear about it? But thank you, internet, for giving me false hope!
Anyway, all this Marvel and Sony partnership has made Hugh Jackman, the guy who would be Wolverine forever if he could, hopeful about one between Marvel and Fox for a Avengers/X-Men crossover. And he wants Iron Man in a Wolverine movie, but only if RDJ continues being Iron Man because right now who else can be RDJ? Nobody, that’s who!
Saturn Awards nominations! Captain America: The Winter Soldier got the most movie nominations with 11, and The Walking Dead got the most TV nominations with 7.
WEDNESDAY

Awesome new trailer aside, here’s Joss Whedon jokingly (or is he?!) complaining how shooting Avengers: Age of Ultron was a “nightmare” experience, and that it was “the hardest juggling act” he ever tried to pull off. But why?
They’re very disparate characters. The joy of the Avengers is they really don’t belong in the same room. It’s not like the X-Men who are all tortured by the same thing and have similar costumes. These guys are just all over the place. And so it’s tough. Honestly, this is as though as anything I’ve ever done, and I haven’t worked this hard since I had three shows on the air.
Now casting time! OK, we might not have Will Smith in Independence Day 2, but we will indeed get Jeff Goldblum! Also, Liam Hemsworth possibly being related to Bill Pullman’s character (we are yet to know if Pullman himself will be back), and finally unknown actor Jessie Usher as Will Smith’s character’s son. If that means the son of his wife or a son they had together later is unsure~
More casting news! This time in TV! Zachary Quinto will be in Hannibal! If they are trying to make me fangirl this series even more, they are doing a splendid job! It will be a small role as a patient of Bedelia’s (Gillian Anderson), that is he will be in at least one episode.
