Whiplash (2014) UK Trailer

The official UK trailer for Whiplash has been released online.

Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film follows Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller), a young jazz drummer who fights to succeed in an exclusive conservatory while his bandleader Terence Fletcher (J. K. Simmons) uses a ruthless approach to improve his players.

The cast is rounded up by Paul Reiser, Melissa Benoist, Austin Stowell, Jayson Blair and Kavita Patil. The film won the Audience Award and the Grand Jury Prize for the US dramatic category at Sundance.

Whiplash has already started its limited release screening in the USA five days ago and it premiers today in the Philippines and tomorrow in Hong Kong. It is scheduled to be released in the UK on January 16, 2015.
