“Weird Al” Yankovic – Word Crimes

Whatever your level of outrage may be whenever listening to -the now disgraced- Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, you can’t deny the level of genius of Weird Al Yankovic’s playful Word Crimes as the internet’s Grammar Police, second promotional single of Yankovic’s new album Mandatory Fun, following Tacky based on Pharrell’s Happy [MV].

The music video in lyric video form was created by Jarrett Heather, who was approached by Weird Al back in October 2013. The project for Word Crimes that lasted for about 500 hours of work in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere, only lasts for 3min 46sec.

You can read more about the project in Heather’s website.

You can get Mandatory Fun on iTunes.
