7. Donnie Darko

You may watch Donnie Darko over and over again, and you may still wonder what the hell it is really about. Is it a film about teen angst? Is it a black comedy film? Or does it deal with the end of the world?

Richard Kelly’s film is really impressive thanks to its appealing mystery, the black humor, a stellar soundtrack and a star-making performance from Jake Gyllenhaal. If you haven’t seen this film yet, then do yourself a favor and watch it. There aren’t many films like this one. — Rodrigo

What about Dazed & Confused?? It’s about that last day of school and that first night of the summer before their senior/freshmen year and college. It is one of my favorites. :D

Just a few more off of my head – Rock’n’Roll High School – it’s the Ramones!!

and of course, Fast Times at Ridgemont High – Sean Penn as Spicoli!? Right on.
