Captain America: Civil War Trailer

The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War has been released just recently on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. This time, we’re getting Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) versus Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, another international incident involving Captain America and the Avengers results in collateral damage, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the Avengers, which results in the fracturing of the team while they attempt to protect the world from a new enemy. At the same time, Cap and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) are also dealing with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), whose presence means a lot for plenty of people, especially the Cap.

The cast seen in previous films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are set to reprise their roles in the third Captain America film, including William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross. By the way, we also get the first on-screen sighting of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Newcomers to the MCU includes Daniel Brühl as Helmut Zemo, Martin Freeman in a yet-to-be-specified role and most notably, Civil War will also have Spider-Man (Tom Holland) appear for the first time in the MCU.

Directed by the Russo brothers, whom directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the Civil War begins on May 06, 2016. Pick a side.
