f(x) – Electric Shock MV
Note: This video post is not a comment on anyone on f(x)’s personal life.
f(x)’s latest music video is finally out. No pun intended.
The song is called Electric Shock — directed by… who knows. Seriously, Kpop. — and is an electropop dance song describing how falling in love feels like an electric shock. Simple hearts-a-flutter things like that.
A YinYueTai Official SM Entertainment version is available.
I’m not a very big f(x) fan. I have three of their tracks on my iPod, which I recently purchased off of iTunes because I’m a good fan like that. However, I do love scouting YouTube comments on their videos because of the love
people have for Amber. Scratch that. The love girls have for Amber.
Electric Shock has a LOT more Amber than I had seen in other songs. She usually gets her rap verse and that’s that. In this music video, however, we got several close-ups of her, and she gets different lines throughout the song. The girl has swag — she obviously sticks out, and even if you’re only a little bit “alternative,” chances are your pick in f(x) member is Amber.
Plus, she speaks English, Mandarin and Korean (and possibly Taiwanese, but I’ve yet to see any proof of that), so she’s cool in my book. The common thing with the people I’ve discussed f(x) with is “I’m not a very big fan, but I like Amber.” LOL
The idea of Amber — it’s not even her alone, because I’ve seen girls scream their lungs out for “the girl who plays Amber” in f(x) dance groups — is fascinating to watch. I’ve yet to meet a guy that tells me, “I’m a guy, and OMG AMBER!” ~
