The YAM Magazine team is scattered all over the world, and all of them have a varied taste in films, so we asked them about the films they have watched — somehow, you don’t wanna know — and which ones deserve to be released outside their country of origin.
FLOWERS is set in different eras starting with the 1930s, and moving on through the 60s, 70s until our day and age through three generations of women.

Since then, every year on Fuki’s birthday she receives a letter from her mom, making Fuki dream of meeting again.
Hula Girls, set in the 1960s, follows a group of girls that set out to learn to hula dance in order to save their town from the decline of the coal mining industry. The heads of families are losing their jobs, and tensions arise from the fact that they want to open a Hawaiian center in a really cold city.
About Her Brother tells the story of the relationship between Ginko and her little brother Tetsuro, who shows up at his niece Koharu’s wedding, where Tetsuro manages to get pissed drunk and embarrass the whole family.
