This week we saw the full cast for the “live action” of The Lion King, and, besides the usual geeky news, some people are very optimistic about how many years their franchise will last.
This past week we had lots of TV series news, including trailers, first looks, a spin-off, and a cool feature for a 100th episode landmark!
The Superbowl came and went, and we got some new footage of various geeky films. Also, another old beloved franchise will definitely be back on TV, and the newest installment of a newer beloved franchise will be available to all.
This week, besides the news about movies, TV shows, comics, and award nominations, two artists very important to geekdom have passed. And so I dedicate this column to David Bowie and Alan Rickman.
