2PM – Still 2:00PM

The latest mini-album by the “beasts” in Kpop is a great club album filled with a nice retro sound. And by retro I mean disco mixed with some kind of 90s sound.

2PM – Hands Up

2PM released their second studio album Hands Up on June 20, 2011. It’s a great development in what 2PM has done so far. This time around the sound is a little bit more fun, with tracks that are a little bit sexier and has a club vibe.

2PM – Don’t Stop Can’t Stop

This mini-album — the first after former member JaeBom left the group — is a step 2PM takes to reinvent themselves, with a little R&B mixed with dance tracks. Nothing really stands out, yet it doesn’t really suck.

2NE1 – To Anyone

2NE1 did something that is unusual in the Korean music scene today. They waited a whole year before they dropped their album. In To Anyone, they are fresh, they are tight, they are bouncing!

2NE1 – Scream

Out of all the 2NE1 releases in Japanese, this one makes the most sense. The song is catchy and displays a different side to 2NE1’s edgy personalities.

YouTube cello duo sensation 2Cellos, formed by Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, release their first rock compilation album with classical instrumentalization.
