Maleficent

It really couldn’t be more perfect than the biggest movie star in the world playing one of the most fascinating Disney baddies in fairy tale history with much more zing, and added Angelina Jolie pizzazz.

Enough Said

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ stellar performance and great chemistry with James Gandolfini should have made her an Academy Award nominee along with Gandolfini, but either voters forgot about them or maybe there’s a stigma against tv-made actors. Either way, Enough Said is easily one of the best films of 2013.
