This week The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey premiered, and in the words of dear Tom Hiddleston, I am uncontrollably excited. However, this is not the only Ian McKellen franchise that got news this time. Yup, we also got mutant news!
Americans where a tad too busy with Turkey Day, apparently. Of course, nobody is as busy as Benedict Cumberbatch seems to be.
Although other geeky stuff have happened all around, it was the constant flow of interviews and pictures of Marvel’s new projects that monopolized the week, and I loved it!
This week was the premiere of Parade’s End, and for that I have some Benedict Cumberbatch news, but there’s also geekiness coming from BBC series and comic book movies!
This week has been plentiful, with superhero movies info, new video games, lots of Cumberbatch and, of course, the Olympics closing ceremony with the Spice Girls and my fav Monthy Python song!
This week hasn’t had much geeky news for me sadly… What it did have was the Openning of the Olympic Games.
DC Comics releases two teaser trailers for Man of Steel with different voice-overs.
What began as a promising week, full of news and excitement the Comic-Con brought, ended in tragedy and worry thanks to some unhinged person.
This week has been curiously fandom packed, as in I’ve found myself lurking around some blogs about the nature of fandom and why it’s fun to enjoy media that isn’t exactly high art.
