Customary end of the year list I do for Cinencuentro, with my record-breaking 120 films.
This week has been very slow in news and I blame all the holiday laziness on that one. Still, we still have things to report, includingwonder women new and old talking about the role~ Also, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug keeps slaying at the box office and I am glad I went and saw it again.

Alfonso Cuarón’s sci-fi action piece is just as much a meditation on life, death, and humanity’s will to survive as it is an engaging thrill ride.
There’s something about The Heat that’s more disappointing than anything that your average buddy-cop movie might deliver.
The Toronto Film Festival has started and with that my favs being all awesome promoting their movies. Also, some interesting casting news… and a retirement that left me with bittersweet feelings.
Alfonso Cuaron’s sci-fi take starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney has released its first official teaser, and it doesn’t disappoint.
