This past week, we had Force Friday! And thus all the new Star Wars toys were released ahead of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Also, the last news of Inhumans before its IMAX premiere, and the last news of Game of Thrones until we have news on the final season.
This week we had our first look of Marvel’s The Defenders! Also, lots of DC updates in films and even TV, and some more Star Wars things!
This week, besides the news about movies, TV shows, comics, and award nominations, two artists very important to geekdom have passed. And so I dedicate this column to David Bowie and Alan Rickman.
Oscar time is getting near with the noms! But besides congratulating some and getting angry at the snubs, we fans had a more important Hannibal related news this week.
Tusks were out, discussions on distribution dates were put on the table, and some hard lobbying was done to put our favorites forward to battle it out. As a result, though local movie distribution is still king, we have some very awesome titles sprinkled here and there for everyone’s taste.
Greetings, fellow fangirls and fanboys! This week we have our first look of a movie I am very much looking forward to! Also, cool comicbook covers, more comicbook adaptations to TV, casting news and I saw The Hobbit again! But I digress, here’s how the week started:
This week was a Hobbit filled week, starting from me actually watching the last movie~ But besides that we stuff on Agent Carter which will soon premiere, and of course the Sony Hack which is the gift that keeps giving!
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was not only the conclusion of The Hobbit trilogy, but also worked as a bridge between trilogies.
This week has important casting news of the geeky kind! Also, a couple of awaited superhero movies finished production. So congrats to all the actors who nabbed a role that might mean job security and I hope those movies got great wrapping parties!
