There are a lot of movie all over the world, some left in distribution limbo, some others left unsubtitled, so this is my attempt at making some sort of comprehensive list of what I thought was great… with some surprises, like last year.
The Lima Film Festival is at it again, celebrating Latin American films with the 16th edition of the event, set to start on August 3rd and run through August 11th in Lima, Peru.
The event of the week is the beginning of the Shanghai International Film Festival, starting on June 16th and ending the 24th, showcasing a broad variety of films… including A LOT of Japanese films in its different programs.
Directed by Mike Leigh, Another Year is a film about a group of people that are going through a very important year in their lives.
