Like any year, the YAM Magazine team got together (on our very secret Facebook group) and did our usual round of voting, movies went up and down and we managed to make a clean Top30 list.
We had two things that rocked the geek world this past week. The new trailer of one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and a very important date for geekdom!
Being created by game developers Quickfire, they’ve managed to re-kindle what made many fans fall in love with dinosaurs in the first place over 20 years ago.
There are a lot of movie all over the world, some left in distribution limbo, some others left unsubtitled, so this is my attempt at making some sort of comprehensive list of what I thought was great… with some surprises, like last year.
The YAM Magazine Team and a couple of guests voted for their favorite films of this decade… so far.
Lots of comicbook and TV series news this week, but also interesting news about MCU including a certain new trailer. Interesting news like everyone and their dog being in poor Captain America’s movie.
Tusks were out, discussions on distribution dates were put on the table, and some hard lobbying was done to put our favorites forward to battle it out. As a result, though local movie distribution is still king, we have some very awesome titles sprinkled here and there for everyone’s taste.
There has been many interesting news this weel… and everything pales in comparison of Avenger: Age of Ultron trailer leak (and following official release). But that doesn’t mean I won’t comment of other geeky happenings.
The Grand Budapest Hotel’s best act is Ralph Fiennes by a very long shot.
