Over the weekend we had the chance to discover György Pálfi’s Final Cut: Ladies and Gentleman (Final Cut: Hölgyeim és Uraim), which is possibly the most ambitious supercut since the invention of the internet to date.
For the current on-going edition of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit, I put together a list of movies from -almost- all the countries participating in the event.
The first look at Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven, the remake of the 1960 western that was the remake of the 1954 Japanese classic by Akira Kurosawa, is out.

Like any year, the YAM Magazine team got together (on our very secret Facebook group) and did our usual round of voting, movies went up and down and we managed to make a clean Top30 list.
There are a lot of movie all over the world, some left in distribution limbo, some others left unsubtitled, so this is my attempt at making some sort of comprehensive list of what I thought was great… with some surprises, like last year.
Celebrate TLVFest’s 10th anniversary at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque during Pride week from June 6 to June 15.
