Moving right along to Favorite Frightening Films 40-21!
Here we have the trailer for Assassin’s Creed which, along with Warcraft, will try to prove this year that films based on videogames do not have to suck. Hopefully.
Like any year, the YAM Magazine team got together (on our very secret Facebook group) and did our usual round of voting, movies went up and down and we managed to make a clean Top30 list.
This past week we have TV promos, posters, franchises expanding, sad Guillermo del Toro news, Marvel taking a page from DC, and DC getting ready for a new demographic!
There are a lot of movie all over the world, some left in distribution limbo, some others left unsubtitled, so this is my attempt at making some sort of comprehensive list of what I thought was great… with some surprises, like last year.
Tusks were out, discussions on distribution dates were put on the table, and some hard lobbying was done to put our favorites forward to battle it out. As a result, though local movie distribution is still king, we have some very awesome titles sprinkled here and there for everyone’s taste.
Despite his lack of experience on the ground, Major William Cage is recruited against his will to form part of a team that will be ambushed and slaughtered time and time again as Cage gains the ability to reset and relive the day.
Ben and his little sister Saoirse — the last Seal-child — embark on a fantastic journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea.
