Sometimes good things must come to an end. They certainly should end before they go stale, and this is the case with Desperate Housewives. In this sixth season, there’s the new family moving into Wisteria Lane – the Bolens with their mystery. The gags are familiar, so are the jokes.

They say television should reflect the society we live in, so it’s no wonder someone came up with the idea for Modern Family. This ABC comedy is basically that, a show about a modern-day family.
Something must be off on Wisteria Lane. The dark suburban humor and the telenovela mystery of the season were what made this a good show, which now has turned into a pretty much humorless non-mystery telenovela.
