Four years after their critically acclaimed The Black Parade, My Chemical Romance is back with an album that is a delight to listen to. It is the alternative rock you all should be listening to.

I have never been a huge fan of MCR, but I’ve been aware of them. Who didn’t when Welcome to the Black Parade came out and with it a huge movement of “emo” teenagers? I have heard a song here and there and always liked what I heard. When I heard Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) it was as if something was switched on inside. I went on a huge MCR music rampage and bought all their albums.

There is something about this band that is “make your ears tingle, your spine dance, your feet tap.” It could be Gerard Way’s flirty voice, the easy to listen to melodies or the wacky yet logical lyrics. This is the kind of rock I should listen to more, because it makes me giddy.

Can’t pick a best track, the whole album is genius.
