Wonder Woman SDCC trailer

Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Wonder Woman moments after it premiered in Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior, Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

What started as a weird version of The Little Mermaid, turned into a beautifully-filmed and action packed trailer. By the time her theme song (“Is She With You?”) started playing we were all excited.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, and it stars Gal Gadot reprising her role from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.  The film also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. Wonder Woman premieres on June 2, 2017.
