Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider Trailer with English Subtitles

The much-awaited first trailer to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider, an Indian adaptation to Shakespeare’s Hamlet, has finally been released completing Bhardwaj’s Shakespearean trilogy that was started with Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello). The project also reunited the director with Irrfan Khan and Tabu, ten years after they collaborated with him.

A young man, Haider (Shahid Kapoor), returns to Kashmir on the news of his father’s disappearance, learning that security forces had detained him for harboring militants. Haider will avenge this when he learns his very own uncle, who married Haider’s mother (Tabu), is responsible.

The rest of the cast is rounded up by Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon.

Haider is set to open on October 2nd this year.
