Traces of Sin Trailer

Based on the novel by Tokuro Nukui, Traces of Sin (愚行録, Gukoroku), follows the life of an elite salary man whose wife and child are murdered, remaining unsolved. A year later, reporter Tanaka (Satoshi Tsumabuki) begins to cover the unsolved murder, learning about them in the process.

Actress Hikari Mitsushima, actor Keisuke Koide, actresses Asami Usuda and Yui Ichikawa also star in the film, which premiered at last year’s edition of the Venice Film Festival.

Traces of Sin opens in Japan this Saturday, February 18th.
