Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy – Trailer

For those who have read the 1974 novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy from John le Carré, here’s the trailer for the film adaptation.

Directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let The Right One In), Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is set in the 70’s and follows George Smiley (Gary Oldman), a perspicacious intelligence expert who is retired. But George comes out of retirement to uncover a Russian agent (Colin Firth). George receives help from Peter Guilliam (Benedict Cumberbatch) on his mission.

The film is set to premiere on September 16, 2011 at the 68th Venice International Film Festival. A wide release of the film will be set for November 18, 2011.
