The Dictator Trailer
If you were wondering about Sacha Baron Cohen dumping ashes on Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars red carpet yesterday, it was all just a publicity stunt for his upcoming film The Dictator.
Based on the novel Zabibah and the King by Saddam Hussein, Sacha Baron Cohen stars as General Aladeen, a dictator from the fictional country the Republic of Wadiya. Aladeen risks his life to keep democracy from entering his country.
The cast includes Anna Faris, Megan Fox, John C. Reily, Ben Kingsley, J.B. Smoove, BJ Novak, Bobby Lee and Kevin Corrigan.
Directed by Larry Charles, who previously directed Cohen on Borat and Brüno, The Dictator is set to premiere on May 11, 2012.
Yeah, I will watch it. Probably.
@Mirella Snape, Me too, probably. This should be easier to watch than Borat, but you never know with Cohen.
@Rodrigo, Borat is less hard to watch than Bruno, though. Bruno is cringe-worthy. He should just stop doing these…
