Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens Trailer

Here’s the beautiful trailer of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, that was worth even that Giants vs. Eagles game~

The trailer was epic and I might have teared up a little. Here most of the new players have a time to shine and show a tiny bit of their respective backstories. Not much of Poe though, except getting tortured by Kylo Ren. There’s shot-out to the original trilogy, in Han going “it’s true… all of it”. Because for these new kids, it was legend. We also poor Finn planning to take on Kylo Ren. There’s a bit of Leia hugging Han, but Luke is no show yet. BTW, is Lupita doing that last voiceover?

And despite all that we are shown, we are not revealed any true spoilery plot points. I appreciate that.

“I will finish… what you started” indeed, J.J. Abrams! That shot of Poe and Finn exchanging glances was totally J.J. Abrams. That’s the kind of movie language you wouldn’t have seen if George Lucas were directing this!

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams, and stars original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow. The film premieres on December 18th.
