Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani Teaser Trailer

It’s New Trailer week! EROSNOW is just being a dick about it and you have to watch it on their website. They decided it’s somehow good business to tease you on YouTube, when their website can’t really handle the traffic.

Will update when an official YouTube upload shows up.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest Bajirao Mastani has (finally!) an eye-candy teaser that needs no subtitles (almost). After being in pre-production limbo for over ten years, where several names flew around (including Salman, Aishwarya, Kareena, and Rani et more), the film is finally starring other very good-looking people Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra as Bajirao, Mastani and Kashibai respectively; in the love triangle of their lives.

After all, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bhansali working with any lead actors over the age of 35.

Anyway~ Bajirao was a Maratha warrior [1] and the second Peshwa [1] of the Maratha Empire, while considered to have been the most influential. He was married to Kashibai, mostly known as a devoted wife, but ultimately fell in love with Mastani, who was half Muslim on her mother’s side. Drama ensues, hearts will be broken, battles will be held and songs will be performed.

People will probably die, but we’ll all be happy about it.

Bajirao Mastani will probably be a hammy eye-candy drama, set for a release on December 18th… not only competing against Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, SNL duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Sisters [Trailer], but it seems it will go head-to-head against Rohit Shetty’s DDLJ-90s-nostalgia pairing SRK-Kajol in Dilwale.
