Polanski’s Carnage Trailer

Avoiding other “carnage” confusions.

Roman Polanski is back after last year’s The Ghost Writer, this time around with Carnage, starring Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly as a pair of spouses meeting Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz, the parents of a kid that had a school brawl with their kid.

The script, written by Polanski, is based on Yasmina Reza’s play entitled Le Dieu du Carnage (God of Carnage).

This looks positively, darkly hilarious.

Carnage is set to open at the Venice Film Festival on September 1st, followed by its Italian premiere on September 9th. The film will then head to the New York Film Festival on September 30th, and will open in the US on December 16th — possibly in a limited release.
