Brian De Palma’s Passion (2012) Trailer

The first trailer for Brian De Palma’s Passion has made its way online.

The film centers on a cunning corporate executive (Rachel McAdams) who delights in toying with her innocent and easily exploited assistant (Noomi Rapace). But when the two get caught in a love triangle, a full blown war breaks out.

The cast includes Paul Anderson, Karoline Herfurth, Rainer Bock, Leila Rozario, Ian T. Dickinson, Alexander Yassin, and Frank Witter. The film’s cinematography was done by José Luis Alcaine (La Piel Que Habito).

Passion is set to make its debut at the 2012 Venice Film Festival on September 7, 2012. Four days later, the film will be screened at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. There is no release date yet for the United States, but the film is set to premiere in France, Germany and Netherlands on February 2013.
