Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby Trailer

Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby is part of our Top 15 Most Anticipated Films of 2012 ranking. And not long ago, a trailer for the film was unleashed.

In The Great Gatsby, Midwesterner Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) is lured into the lavish world of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio). Soon enough, however, Carraway will see through the cracks of Gatsby’s nouveau riche existence, where obsession, madness, and tragedy await.

The cast also includes Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher, Joel Edgerton, Callan McAuliffe, Gemma Ward, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jason Clarke.

Filmed in 3D, The Great Gatsby is set to premiere just in time for Christmas Day on December 25, 2012… against Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. [1]

Edit: The Great Gatsby has been pushed to a Summer 2013 release date due to conflicts in the production schedule.
