Asu Mare 2! (2015) Trailer

The trailer for Asu Mare 2! has been released online a few hours ago just in time to get this rolling on the big screens before a bunch of tasteless casual Peruvian moviegoers ends up watching Fifty Shades of Grey (if that thing had to exist, it should have been developed as an NC-17 film) on Valentine’s Day instead of watching more interesting films such as Whiplash or Wild.

Asu Mare 2! will deal with Carlos Alcántara’s path and struggles to win over his eventual wife (Emilia Drago) and her family as well as dealing with social class prejudices. We also get to see Christian Meier as the film’s main antagonist and some bits bits of Ana Cecilia Natteri — one of the highlights of the first film, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up being the sequel’s MVP — reprising her role as Cachín’s mom and several comedy scenes that makes me feel second-hand embarrasment, except for a paparazzi joke involving Meier at the end of the trailer.

The official cast is revealed in the trailer, but there’s also cameos from Alcántara’s Pataclaun buddies and Puerto Rico singer Jerry Rivera.

Asu Mare 2! premieres on April 09, 2015 — that’s 3 weeks to make a local killing before Avengers: Age of Ultron premieres.

You’d be surprised, this also played on the Whiplash show. Nobody is safe.

Nope. I expected it to be played on every theater screening along with commercials from its sponsors, but I forgot to mention that. But Shades is a priority for Tondero considering nearly everyone in a relationship will end up seeing it.

I dodged it on my Whiplash viewing somehow by arriving a little late when the trailers were airing. Couldn’t dodge the trailer for the Nicolas Cage film that has been slaughtered by critics, though.

I dunno if Cachin looks like Kenny G or “Weird Al” Yankovic lol
